Chaffcombe has its very own footpath information centre. It the form of a converted BT telephone box and has been restored by Rowland Butler.
It is located at the entrance to the Parish Church. Maps of the local area and informative books are on display.
There is a village rota for the weekly cleaning. This is a novel way of keeping our unique British telephone boxes in use in our villages.
You can borrow the maps but we would ask you to retun them after your walk.
If you have any local walking information to donate to the village please contact Mary Butler .
