Don’t Miss your chance to see what Somerset is doing to try to prevent the flooding that happened in 2013-14.
There will be a presentation by the CRISP team (Community Resilience in Somerset Project) in the Village Hall on 23rd May at 7:30 pm. (preceding the Village Annual Council meeting). This will be followed by a Q&A session.
It is important to be aware that the flooding does not just affect the Levels, but the whole of Somerset. We should all be alert to the dangers of flooding even in such a reasonably sheltered village like Chaffcombe. So come along and find out what is being done and how we can all try to ensure what happened in the past does not happen again.
