Fund raising auction for
Chaffcombe Village Hall
An idea was put forward to raise money for Chaffcombe village hall. Villager Michael Otterbeck has agreed to raise funds by auctioning some antiques and collectable items on eBay, or even modern unwanted items. We are hoping you would donate items to add to those being auctioned by Michael.
100% of all money raised will go to the fund. Michael has had considerable success in raising money in this way in the past.
We are looking for items small enough to post (up to 5kg) and of the collectable/antique nature. Items such as old cameras, vintage smoking related items, coins, military items, jewellery, pewter and treen items, interesting old ephemera, pre 1960 toys and games. Anything you might find in an antique shop!
Due to the difficulties in posting fragile items we would ask you do not donate quantities of bric-a-brac, china and glass or big bulky items such as furniture.
Michael is happy to answer any questions you have (01460 66306). Donations can be given directly to Michael at 1 Dons Close, just up from the War Memorial or to Stan or to Mary and Rowland
There is no time limit on donation but it would be nice to raise the money as soon as we can.
