The treads to this footpath has now been repaired.
I went to clear around the 9 tread timber staircase up the embankment at the start of Footpath CH4/20 on the A30 this morning and in doing so one of the treads in the centre collapsed so it is now unsafe to use, especially as the treads are very slippery even when cleared of foliage.
I have raised this a fault on the SCC RofW logging system asking that this be repaired urgently but please advise village users in the mean-time. This has now been repaired.
