Walk. Last Tuesday there was a brilliant turn out for our walk to Ilminster.  Lead by Chaffcombe’s hard working friendly footpath warden, Tony, 11 of went ‘over the hill’ to Dowlish Wake for coffee and cake, then on to Ilminster for a wander around and then home on the 1pm bus. Following the success of this we have decided to do another longer walk on a different day than the normal village walk.  On Monday 24th March we will walk from the allotments on the Tatworth Road in Chard. If you want to go call 65909 and we will arrange car sharing.  This will not interfere with our normal footpath walk which will take place on the first Tuesday of April -details to follow.
