BURNS NIGHT DINNER
Do come and celebrate Burns Night with us.
This year the profits will be shared between PFP (this wonderful local charity, website below) and our War Memorial which is in need of some rather urgent attention.

Traditional Burns Night supper and entertainment…
Dress: a sense of heather…
Haggis specially flown in from Scotland (+ veggie version)
Cock o’ Leekie soup for starters and Athol Brose for finishers
Entertainment: Songs and poems by Robbie Burns and others sung by wonderful Scottish singers Sheila Bowman (soprano) and William Salmon (tenor) with Maggie Griffiths, Peter Lansdown and Neil Lawrie (piano) in support
There are 60 places, all we can accommodate,
Tickets: £17.50 as we have the two beneficiaries… and will include a complementary tot of malt…

Paying. When you have booked please drop your payment in to me in an envelope marked “Burns Night”… at Rose Cottage or the mailbox at the Village Hall, or if Joe Burlington is feeling kind, through his door, Monksmead, 27 East Street, Ilminster
Confirmation: I will confirm your bookings by email when payments are received.
