All of our walks are voluntary and walkers walk with us at their own risk. No liability is accepted. The route we hope to take is:
We propose the following route, subject to weather conditions :-
Chaffcombe Village Hall-Summer Lane-Whitemore Hill-Avishayes Clock Tower-South towards A30-Mal’s Mead Lane-cross A30- Wreath Farm-The Drift (south)-cross A30- The Drift (north)-Avishayes Road past Tudbear Farm-Summer Lane-Village Hall.
This route may be subject to change and shortened if the weather is bad. We could be crossing some muddy fields in the Wreath Farm area so good footwear will be needed.
All our welcome to come. Dogs can accompany you provided they are always kept on a lead. We try to arrange these monthly walks along our footpaths to clear the overgrowth on the footpaths and enjoy the scenery and each others’ company. If you have any secateurs etc. please free to bring them along – suitable gloves are advised if you are helping in this way. If you would like to take photographs as we go please can you send these to Mary Butler (firstname.lastname@example.org) for insertion on this website. Thanks
