Village Walk to cut back footpaths – Tues 6th April

Dear all

Just to get those leg muscles working again (although I know a lot of you have been walking your socks off during lockdown) I propose a Village Walk next Tuesday 6th April. Nothing too strenuous or long, just enough to fine tune you for future walks further afield!

This is what is planned:-

Chaffcombe Village Walk Tuesday 6th April at 10.00am
Village Hall – Knapps Lane east – Sprays Hill – Cricket Lane east – Knowle Lane west – Knowle – across fields to Woodhouse Farm – Woodhouse cottages – Chaffcombe Lane – Village Hall

We will be walking in strict accordance with CoVid rules (CoVid passports not required) so if more that 6 walkers turn up we will split into groups. If any cutting back is required to keep footpaths clear, we will do this as well. Parts of the paths could still be very muddy so please come prepared.

Hope this appeal to you as an opportunity to have a social catch up as well as a splendid walk.

Best wishes to you all.
