Tomorrow is the celebration of Candlemas / Presentation of Christ at the Temple.
If we were worshipping together in church we would be carrying out a Candlemas procession and symbolically turning from the Crib to the Cross through the lighting of candles together and rejoicing in the light of Christ, revealed now as the light of the world.
For this year, our worship is online, and I have produced a YouTube video service to celebrate this important festival. You will be able to watch it at any time from midnight tonight and the link is below:
It will also be available on our site: https://twoshires.wordpress.com/sunday-service.
If you are following the service, I do invite you to have with you something that represents the light of Christ in your lives. It may well be a candle, but it could be something else! Towards to the end ot the service we share in the liturgy of turning from the Crib to the Cross and going out boldly into the world carrying that light.
You can also access a Diocesan reflection for tomorrow on their website: https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/
Blessings to you all,
