IN   MEMORIAM

We stand in eternal blessèd memory

Of these our noble Brothers,

Who in war passed through Purgatory,

Together with countless others,

And were born into everlasting Glory,

To this day, installed beside our Father.

We humble folk will ne’er forget

How our forebears were beset,

How bravely their end they met,

That one day we may peace beget.

We who yet live, never shall forget.
