Sunday Services – 6th September

Just the weekly reminder of services in the Benefice tomorrow:
8am Holy Communion (BCP) – Forde Abbey (Rev Philip)
10am Holy Communion – St Stephen’s, Winsham (Rev Judith)
4pm Afternoon Worship – St John’s, Tatworth (Rev Philip)
The afternoon service will be a Celtic themed service of Evening Prayer using scripture, reflection and music around the theme of ‘Love your neighbour’.  
Recorded readings and talk will be available online at from mid morning.
Here is an updated prayer list:
  • Schools, colleges and universities as they prepare for a new year.  Children and staff returning to school, or starting in new education.  Families of those making those preparations. 
  • Farmers during this harvest period.
  • The village, hamlets, businesses and residences of Thorncombe Parish. 
  • We pray for those we know who are sick, and those we don’t know, including those we are asked to pray by name for:
