Films at The Old Rectory

Hallo film fans!

Our first two films will be on different nights of the week, so hopefully people will be able to get to one or the other – or both!  They are completely different in character……

Wednesday 30th January at 7.30pm – yes, next week! – “The Greatest Showman” (2017) American musical staring Hugh Jackman; the film is inspired by the story of P.T. Barnum’s creation of the Barnum and Bailey Circus and the lives of its star attractions.

Tuesday 5th February at 7.30pm – Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (BBC 1978, starring Helen Mirren as Titania)

Please let us know if you would like to come, to which film(s), and how many chairs to put out for you. We have a limited amount of room so it will be first come, first served. If you book but later find you can’t come after all, please let me know so we don’t have empty chairs cluttering the studio up. Our phone number is 01460 67200.

If you haven’t been to the studio before, walk up our drive and through the second set of gates and the studio is upstairs in the barn. House lights will go down promptly at 7.30 so please arrive with at least 5 minutes in hand to get settled. Parking is available in front of the house (park nose to hedge). No drinks, no food and no telephones please!

We support Cancer Research and there will be a box at the bottom of the studio stairs…..

Hope you can come!

Neale and Geraldine
